| Turkey Valley 53 Clayton Ridge 13 The Game was never really in doubt. Turkey Valley routed Clayton Ridge in the final regular season game 53-13 and the final score does not indicate how much in control of the game the Trojans were. The win clinched the district championship and #1 seed for the Trojans. It is Turkey Valley's third consecutive trip to the playoffs. Offensively- We ran the ball very
well with 557 yards for the game.
Hard running and good blocking
up front led to several long TD
runs. We did not turn the ball over.
Defensively- We played well. The
team did a great job of running to
the ball on rushing plays. Jordan
Mitchell had an interception.
Special Teams- We were close to
blocking several punts early in the
game. The Kick off team did a great
job of covering the kicks. Adam
Kriener was once again the leader
on kick coverage tackles.
Comments- We played very well.
This win puts the Trojans as the
first seed for the post season
which begins Wednesday. We will
host North Cedar, the team that
beat us last year in post season
play.
