Comments from
Coach Mark Scott

Offensively- "The number of plays
our offense ran was limited due to
the number of returns for TD’s.
The first group of offense only ran
21 plays. We also had excellent
field position most of the night."

Defensively- "We bent but did not
break. The size of Valley’s line and
their style of offense allowed them
to control the ball some what. We
had four take a ways that helped
with field position. AJ Martin had
an interception and a fumble
recovery. John Schmitt had a
fumble recovery and Jordan
Schmitt had a 79 yd Interception
return for a TD."

Special Teams- "Jordan Mitchell
and AJ Martin had nice kick
returns of 48 and 23 yds
respectively. Jordan Mitchell had
two punt returns one of them 78 yd
for a TD."
"Adam Schaufenbuel had the
dream night of many a lineman. He
returned two blocked punts for TD’
s. One of the punts was blocked by
Dalton Hackman."

Comments-
"This was a different type of game;
with the returns for touchdowns
and limited offense the score does
not match the stats very well. The
players did a great job of
capitalizing on scoring
opportunities. We still have some
kinks to work out as the year
progresses and we start District
play next week on at Goose Lake."
